Join us on Wednesdays from 4:30 to 6:00 pm
 
 
Every Wednesday evening, we serve a hot meal – at no cost to you.
It is served in our Fellowship Hall from 4:30 – 6:00 pm. 
 
You may come on in and dine with us or get your meal to go. You can even pick up an extra one for lunch the next day if needed. Anybody is invited to come and have dinner. There is no specific criteria to be eligible.

FYI: No meals will be served on Dec 26

GOD’s CLOSET
 
God’s Closet is open on Wednesdays from 3:00 pm  -5:00 pm. It is located downstairs in the basement at Arthur United Methodist Church. 
 
They carry clothing for both children and adults. Also at times, they have household and kitchen items. God’s Closet also takes donations of clothing, small household items and some small kitchen appliances. 
 
If you are a family in need or just moving to town and need a few things, stop by God’s Closet on a Wednesday or if you are unable to come then, call the church office at 543-3159 to schedule a time to come take a look.

Food PantryFOOD PANTRY
 
The Arthur United Methodist Food Pantry serves those who are hungry and in need. Donations are given by the church members, the community, area organizations and other surrounding churches.
 
It is open by appointment. If you or know someone who is need, contact the Methodist Church to find out how the food pantry can help serve you. Call the church office at

The Arthur United Methodist Church also serves a meal every Wednesday evening from 4:30 -6:30 p.m.
 
 
CRAFTY CRAFTERS

The Craft Crafters meet Tuesday evenings from 7-9pm. They are famously known for their Microwave Pot Holders. In November, they put on their annual Christmas Craft Bazaar where they sell their handmade crafts and baked goods.

The Crafty Crafters stay busy throughout the year creating imaginative works of art that include anything from snowmen, quilts, Christmas ornaments, pot holders and any other craft that they can think up. They have raised money from their sales which has been donated to various causes.

Project Linus meets every Tuesday from 1-3  They knit 8” squares to send to church in St. Charles, IL and they send the squares to Africa for blankets for children.
