                  Women’s Bible Study

Are you living with the stress of an overwhelmed             schedule and aching with the sadness of an                  underwhelmed soul?

Lysa TerKeurst is learning that there is a big difference between saying “yes” to everyone and saying “yes” to God. In The Best Yes 6-session DVD Bible study, Lysa uses her signature mix of transparency, Scripture-laced insight, and “been there” humor to suggest practical strategies for making wise decisions day by day.

Please join us starting April 29 at 6 p.m. in the Arthur United Methodist Church lounge.  Study will be held for 6 weeks total on: April 29, May 6, May 20, June 3, June 10, and June 24.

Please call the church at 543-3159 to order your              workbook for the study.

We feel that it is important to be a congregation that prays together… Prayer is an important part of our daily lives. Every Sunday, at 5:30 pm, we try to come together to pray. You are welcome to come to the church office or even log onto our Facebook page during that time. If you can’t be present physically, you can join us in prayer where ever you may be at that time.

Senior High UTH meet on Sundays from
6:00- 7:30 pm. They are usually lead by Tim & Monica Miller and/or Steffanie Seegmiller.
These ladies meet at 1:00pm and knit 8” squares to send to church in St. Charles, IL and Africa for blankets for children. They also put together quilts for shut-ins in the community as well.

(sometimes 7pm)
They are famously known for their Microwave Pot Holders. In November, they put on their annual Christmas Craft Bazaar where they sell their handmade crafts and baked goods. The Crafty Crafters stay busy throughout the year creating imaginative works of art that include anything from snowmen, quilts, Christmas ornaments, pot holders and any other craft that they can think up. They have raised money from their sales which has been donated to various causes.
These kids are a lot of fun and our numbers are growing. We can always use extra help with Youth. They read stories out of the children’s bible, play games, do crafts and sing and dance to music
